

GOLDEN STATE VALKYRIES
When the WNBA expanded into the Bay Area, the goal was not just to launch a team but to create a lasting symbol of female power rooted in the city’s identity. As creative partners, we shaped the Valkyries brand to feel both fierce and grounded, drawing on mythic resonance and public input to position the team as warriors of legacy and empowerment. The identity centers on a “V” mark inspired by the Bay Bridge, with its tower doubling as a sword, merging geography and mythology. A palette of Valkyrie Violet, black, gold, and white reinforces strength and modernity, while a cohesive system across uniforms, merchandise, and digital platforms expresses a unified narrative of women in motion, rooted in place and ready to lead.
